Hey everyone!!! 🙂 Let me start out with the fact that I’m not exactly good at writing things like this, and my thoughts will probably be scattered… so I apologize beforehand!
My name’s Marissa Ellen Schley. I’m a 14 year old homeschooled freshman from 
Trenton, Michigan. I’ve gone to public school for my whole life, this is my first year of homeschooling… and so far I love it! I live with my mom and 15 year old brother who has aspergers (a form of autism). My parents are divorced, but thankfully I get to see my dad a lot. I love running track, every other sport I’m horrible at! 🙂 I’m energetic, and I smile and laugh a lot. Hanging out with friends and doing crazy random things is the best! Oh.. and I’m in love with McDonalds ice cream!

My youth group is sooo important to me, everyone there is so encouraging to me… and my youth pastor is awesome! 😀 I’m at church a lot, and I love my friends there! At church I’m on a drama/dance team…it’s so much fun.
I’m so excited to go to Uganda!!! I have been on three mission trips to Kentucky, but all three have only been for a week. I can’t wait to spend a month in Uganda serving the people there! I’ve always had a heart for Africa… I simply can’t explain how excited I am for everything! I can’t wait to go and do what God has called me to do. Oh! And I can’t wait to meet my team!

Thats awesome! Yeah I have done homeschooling on and off my whole life… haha but whats great is I get to graduate a year early! I’m so excited. And ME TOO! I’m soooooo pumped for this trip and getting to know all you guys! I know it’s going to be life changing. Hey by the way do you have a facebook?
