So, as you can tell by the tardiness of this blog post, I'm running a little behind on my devotionals in relation to the compass. I went to camp, so, I'm trying to catch up. And I am, okay, I'm just a little slow. lol.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise you for this team. For fashioning us individually and loving us. I praise you for your love, compassion, and beauty which is poured upon us daily.
Lord, we know we are not perfect. We have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But, take our imperfections, and fill us with You. With Your love. With Your compassion. With Your beauty.
God, please teach us who You are even more through this trip. Help us love one another and not get moody with eachother. Help us grow in You. Please give us the strength to endure great length between showers. And all the material things we want, teach us to live without them. If it's Your will, God, create in us a team that is unstoppable to share Your word. Give us ease of travel. And when trials come, let us look to You, the author and finisher of our faith.
Thank you for letting me be a part of this team of teens who desperately love you and want your will to be done. Thank you for every single person who you have called to go to Uganda. You have a purpose for us, individually and as a group, and I thank you for that. Thank you for our leaders. Thank you God for giving them wisdom and please continue to do that. Thank you for shining through them and putting this call on their hearts.
We love you God. Thank you for loving us first.
