Don Rock, our director, spoke with Aaron Lawson today!

Yesterday, the team went out into the bush again for ministry. They worked with local churches and met a lot of people. It was a great day!

Today, they had a VBS down by Lake Victoria. And at the end, they had a baptismal service! I know that's something they–and the ones they baptized–will remember for the rest of their lives!

As you probably assumed, the team is having a hard time with internet access… like the earlier this week when they had it, wrote a blog, and the cafe lost power. As internet availability allows, they will post when they can. We will continue to update you via this blog as we hear from them.

God is working through the team in Uganda and it's a beautiful thing!

  2. It was unfortunate to hear about the power failure that lost the blog news from a few days ago. Thank-you for all the work & effort that you all put into it.

Praise the Lord!! It is so nice to hear that everyone is doing well, which is good news indeed! Thank-you for the update. Sounds like the girls and Aaron have been keeping themselves very busy doing the little and big things that make God happy for caring for these people! It is all the hard work & effort that Uganda Team and Ambassador Team are doing that matter. May God Bless you all, YOU ARE CHANGING THE WORLD ONE PERSON AT A TIME! Go Team Uganda Go!

  3. Team Uganda, it is so wonderful that you can be a part of God’s work in Uganda and have an opportunity to participate in a baptismal service there! Truly, it will be a special memory for all of you to treasure!

I’m sure that the children will long remember the valuable lessons they learned from you during the VBS and that they will enjoy keeping the crafts that you helped them make. May God continue to increase their understanding of His Word and draw them into a deeper relationship with Him! His presence will comfort, encourage, and strengthen them as they face the many challenges ahead of them in life!

Bethany, thanks for your brief email and for sending us the darling photo of Shila!! We continue to pray for you and your team to stay safe and well, and for God to really use you to bless His people there. I know that you will come home with a heart that is broken for those that are poor and needy, and with a greater zeal to do what you can to reach out and bless others in His name. We love you and praise God for blessing us with you! We really look forward to hearing all about what you witnessed God doing through you and your team!
