Hey everyone! I’m Julia, for all of you to know! I’m seventeen and a junior at Golden High School from Golden, Colorado. Attending public school for all of my life, I’ve learned so much about a lot of things, and I’ve grown a passion for people. I come from a family of 8 (including my parents), and my 5 siblings are some of my closest friends. I should probably mention that i do have a twin sister, Jill, who never fails to be my best friend. I love trying new things and stepping out of my element–adventures are where I find my fun. I’m also very interested in art and photography.
I’ve had troubles finding a youth group that works for me, but taking part in what my church is doing has become very important to me. I love doing local outreaches for those in need around my area, and I’m excited to expand that!
I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, and seeing God’s work in completely different areas of the world! This Uganda trip has been on my heart for quite some time and I’m more excited than ever to begin this journey. I can’t wait to meet you all!
