Hey Everyone!
My name is Amber Alysia Madsen. I’m fifteen years old, a Freshman at NorthomeHigh School. I live in northern Minnesota, surrounded by woods and lakes in a small town with a population of 80 people. I absolutely love it here! I have three brothers- Zach, Liam, & Dylan and two of the best parents anyone could ever ask for. I play volleyball, and I’ve done track the past three years but I’m going to try golf out for the first time this year. Some other things I like to do are snowboarding, photography, & horseback riding(:
I can’t describe howexcited I am to go to Uganda! Ever since I was in elementary, I was always trying to find ways that I could help the people 
there. I feel that God has been trying to tell me that Africa is my calling for many years. I’ve always had a heart for the people of Africa, and I really believe that God is going to move in on so many peoples’ lives. I absolutely love kids, and I can’t imagine how hard it is
going to be once we’re going to have to leave Uganda after spending all that time with all the children! I can’t wait to meet everyone going on this trip too! I believe this is absolutely going to be a life changing experience.
