Hey yall!!!!

My name is Alyson Wells and I'm 16! I'm a junior at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, GA, which is a pretty cool but sorta boring city. Most people hate it but I don't mind it too much. Welllllll I've pretty much grown up learning about Jesus and going to church. My parents got divorced I think when I was 7. I have two amaaazing siblings, a brother Robby, 23, and sister Kathleen, 20. I accepted Christ when I was little but was trying to find contentment elsewhere up until the summer before sophomore year. I went on a mission trip to an orphanage in MX and realized that the world is so much bigger than just me and that all the fulfillment I need is in God! I want to be a missionary and I've always felt called to Africa because of all the need and suffering. I learned about Uganda through raising money for Invisible Children and all that jazzzzz. So when I came across this trip i was like, PERFECT!!! I can't wait to actually see this place I've learned so much about!!! And meet the people!! And meet yall!!!

So anyways, I'm really short and I have dreads which are fun. I work at a burrito shop and go to school and volunteer at an afterschool tutoring program for at risk students which I looove.

 

I can't wait to meet yall!!!! I'm so excited to spend a month with yall this summer in Uganda!!!!! And i'm on facebook if anyone else has one! :)
